About this list
These clubs state on their own pages, or on a federation page, that they train or field children and teenagers. In Józsefváros, Grund64 runs weekly classes for children from kindergarten age into the teens on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Barcza Gedeon Sport Club holds group training for school-age players with a FIDE master on Friday afternoons at the ELTE campus, and the Pestszentimre sports club’s chess circle opens free of charge on Monday afternoons in the Pestszentimre community house. Sakklovagok Társasága organises children’s tournaments at the Pacsi cultural centre in Ferencváros.
In the towns around the capital, the clubs of Vác, Érd and Törökbálint mention youth training or children’s events: the Érd club organises a children’s and youth tournament at a culture centre in the town, and the Törökbálint club holds sessions for children and adults in the Munkácsy centre. Honvéd Auróra in Angyalföld describes youth training too, though its newest dated page is older than the others.
