Tuesday is a training evening on the Buda side. In the South block of the ELTE campus at Lágymányos two clubs share the evening: Barcza Gedeon Sport Club trains its adult players there, and the BEAC chess section meets in the Farkas Gyula room for players of mixed strength, asking newcomers to get in touch before their first visit.
On the Pest side the chess circle of the Láng Művelődési Központ in Angyalföld runs from the afternoon into the evening, and Grund64 in Józsefváros gives its Tuesday afternoons to children’s classes. The chess section of the NGM Sport Club, the workplace sports club of a ministry, gathers in the ministry building on Ajtósi Dürer sor for a short lesson followed by games; it welcomes beginners, and a first session can be tried without membership.
