FIDE-rated tournaments in Budapest 25

Every event on this page appears in FIDE’s tournament reports or says it is submitted for FIDE rating. The largest share are round robins built for title norms: First Saturday every month, SixDays, Budapest One Week and the Vezérképző tournaments, each in GM, IM and rating-limited groups, with the U1800 Marathon for players below that rating and the Friday Night series beside them. The Premium Chess Tournament, with a main group and a group for lower-rated players, the Rákosmenti Open and the summer and winter tournaments at the Testnevelési Egyetem complete the rated calendar.

Rated games also come from memorials, from the national championships held in Budapest and from the Budapest team championship, whose rounds appear in FIDE’s reports. Rapid events count as well: the TFSE Racka Rapid, the Terézváros rapid editions, the BEFS Universitas Kupa and the ART 3F SE rapids.
