The Sárkány Diáksport Egyesület holds this yearly youth rapid memorial to a chess teacher (7 Swiss rounds under FIDE rapid rules) in its club room, Szabadság utca 24 (XVII. kerület), for young players of the district and its surroundings. The Hungarian Chess Federation calendar carries the 21st edition on 11 October 2025 and the 22nd on 3 October 2026; the Budapest Chess Federation calendar lists earlier editions back to 2017.
