The Barcza Gedeon Sport Club holds the Ősz Gábor Memorial, in memory of a former club president, in the South block of the ELTE Lágymányos campus, Farkas Gyula room, Pázmány Péter sétány 1/c (XI. kerület). The Hungarian Chess Federation calendar carries the 7th edition (a 9-round blitz year-closer, 14 December 2024) and the 8th (a 7-round rapid of 10 minutes per player in rated and unrated groups, 29 November 2025, no competition licence needed).
