The Sakkmatyi chess school runs a monthly children's tournament series for beginners and young players in the Grund64 chess hall, Bíró Lajos utca 15 (VIII. kerület): two strength groups, 6 or 7 Swiss rounds of 15 minutes per player under FIDE rapid rules eased for beginners. Its page lists the Sunday tournament days 27 September, 18 October, 8 November, 29 November and 20 December 2026.
